Venus supports law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line every day and believes criminals should be held accountable for their actions. She will work to strengthen public safety, combat violent crime, support first responders, and ensure our communities remain places where families and businesses can thrive.

Government should answer to the people—not special interests or political insiders. Venus believes taxpayers deserve transparency, accountability, and ethical leadership. She will fight for open government, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, stronger ethics standards, and policies that eliminate waste, fraud, and corruption.

Strong families build strong communities. Venus believes parents are the primary decision-makers in their children's lives and should have a meaningful voice in their education, healthcare, and upbringing. She supports protecting children, defending parental rights, and promoting policies that strengthen families while respecting their values.

Every child deserves an excellent education that prepares them for success. Venus believes schools should focus on reading, writing, mathematics, science, history, and career readiness while maintaining safe learning environments. She supports curriculum transparency, increased parental involvement, educational choice, and empowering teachers to focus on academic achievement.

North Carolina families are feeling the pressure of rising prices on everything from groceries to electricity. Venus believes government should live within its means just as families do. She will support fiscally responsible budgets, lower taxes where possible, reduce unnecessary regulations, oppose wasteful spending, and pursue policies that help lower the cost of living for working families and retirees.
